About
I am an experienced and dedicated elementary school teacher with over 16 years of teaching experience in both Ghana and Japan. I specialize in learner-centered education, English language instruction, classroom management, and child development support. My teaching approach focuses on creating engaging and inclusive learning environments that help students build confidence in reading, writing, and communication skills.
I hold a Bachelor of Education in Basic Education from the University of Education, Winneba and a Diploma in Basic Education from Holy Child College of Education. I also have certifications in TEFL, Differentiated Learning, and Phonetics and English Pronunciation.
My professional experience includes serving as a Class Teacher at Asamankese Salvation Army Elementary School and working as an Assistant Language Teacher (ALT) in Japanese elementary schools, including Fuduo Elementary School and Kitakoshigaya Elementary School. In these roles, I taught English communication skills, supported multicultural education, and used interactive teaching techniques such as games, music, and visual aids to improve student engagement.
