About
My name is Andrew Okpoti Aryee from Accra,Ghana and professional teacher with over 11 years teaching experience.
I hold a Bachelor of Education degree in Basic Education from the University of Education, Winneba, Ghana. I also hold a Higher National Diploma from Accra Technical University.
I began my teaching career in 2004 and have over eleven years of classroom experience. I have found joy and fulfilment in teaching, which motivates me to explore opportunities to share my knowledge and learn from different cultures outside Ghana.
I have been teaching using the British Curriculum, including Cambridge and Pearson Edexcel, as well as the Ghana National Curriculum. My experience includes lesson planning, classroom management, student assessment, and differentiated instruction. I design engaging lessons that promote active learning and support student success.
I have extensive experience in inclusive education. In Ghana, inclusive learning is part of
the national curriculum. I have taught students with diverse learning needs, including those with mild autism. I apply flexible teaching methods, visual aids, and individual support strategies to ensure that every learner achieves progress.
I am proficient in English and confident in teaching both elementary and secondary school levels. I integrate modern technology such as Google Earth and digital learning tools to make lessons more practical and engaging.
I am passionate about education and dedicated to providing quality learning experiences. I believe my qualifications, teaching experience, and commitment to inclusive education will
make a strong contribution to your school community.
I am drawn to a school because of its reputation for fostering academic excellence and its commitment to preparing students for global citizenship. I believe that teaching in your school will allow me to support your goals of developing students who are knowledgeable, responsible, and engaged.
I am confident that my background, skills and international perspective will be an asset to your team. I would welcome the opportunity to discuss further how I can contribute to the academic and personal growth of your students.
