Dear Sir/Ma’am,
I am writing to express my strong interest in applying for a teaching position under the J-1 Exchange Visitor Program. As a highly motivated and passionate teacher for 2 years of experience in English for Grade 11 and 12 learners, I am eager to contribute my skills and commitment to student-centered learning in your school community.
I am licensed teacher. I have completed a degree in AB Communication major in
Broadcasting at Lyceum of the Philippines University, earned 18 teaching units at Cavite
State University, earned 24 units of Bridging Program in Special Education and currently enrolled in Master of Arts in Special Education at Western Colleges Inc. to further strengthen my expertise in inclusive education.
In my current role at Southern Philippines Institute of Science and Technology as a
Senior High School English teacher, I have handled diverse learners and implemented
interactive and engaging instructional strategies that promote collaboration and
inclusiveness.
As a J-1 teacher applicant, I am excited about the opportunity to engage in a culturally diverse students and I look forward to sharing my Filipino culture, traditions and values while also learning from different educational practices in the United States. I believe this program will enrich not only my professional growth and development but also the global awareness of my students.
