About
I am a qualified Mathematics Teacher with UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), awarded in May 2024, and over eight years of successful teaching and leadership experience at Junior High and Senior High School levels.
I currently teach Mathematics at Adu Gyamfi Senior High School, where I am also a Form Master. My responsibilities include curriculum delivery, learner progress tracking, assessment analysis, examination preparation, and pastoral support. Previously, I served as Nominal Head and Curriculum Lead, roles which strengthened my capacity for instructional leadership, staff collaboration, and school improvement planning.
My teaching approach is learner-centred and inclusive, informed by training in Universal Design for Learning (UDL). I plan lessons that are differentiated, engaging, and data-driven, ensuring that all pupils are supported to make measurable progress. I place strong emphasis on safeguarding, professional conduct, and positive behaviour management.
In addition to my education qualifications, I hold professional certification in Electrical Engineering, which enhances my ability to contribute to STEM-focused learning, practical problem-solving, and cross-curricular engagement.
I am highly motivated to contribute to a school that values high standards, teamwork, and pupil wellbeing. I am confident that my QTS status, international experience, and leadership background would allow me to add immediate value to your school community.
