I am a dedicated and student-centered English Language Arts teacher with 10 years of teaching experience in the Philippine public school system. I currently teach Grades 9 and 10 English, specializing in Anglo-American Literature, World Literature, grammar, reading, and writing. Prior to joining the Department of Education, I taught Senior High School English courses, including Technical Writing, Creative Writing, and 21st Century Literature.

I believe that effective teaching goes beyond delivering content. My goal is to create a classroom where students feel respected, engaged, and empowered to become critical thinkers, confident communicators, and lifelong learners. I teach grammar in context, integrate literature with meaningful discussions and writing activities, and use technology to enhance collaboration and student engagement.

As an educator, I value strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. I am adaptable, culturally responsive, and committed to continuous learning. Through the J-1 Exchange Visitor Program, I look forward to sharing my culture while learning from the American educational system and contributing positively to my school community.
