About
My name is Aimelyn G. Sabalboro, an Elementary teacher with 13 years of teaching experience as a classroom teacher. I am currently teaching at Sta. Isabel Elementary School in Sorsogon, Philippines as a 1st grade handling English, Math, Music, Arts, and PE. I want to apply as an elementary teacher in your school.
I graduated with a Bachelor in Elementary Education at Sorsogon State College last April 1, 2011. I pursued Master of Arts in Education major in Administration and Supervision at Sorsogon State College in Sorsogon City, Philippines and graduated last March 24,2017 with 36 academic units. As an experienced elementary teacher, I have proven track record of students’ achievement. I have effective strategies to improve students’ reading and mathematical skills through various learning opportunities. I believe in fostering a sense of wonder and curiosity through inquiry-based learning. By encouraging students to ask questions, explore topics of interest, and actively participate in their own learning, I aim to instill a passion for discovery that goes beyond the confines of the classroom and extends into their everyday lives.
As a teacher, I see education as a collaborative effort that involves not only the student and the teacher but also families and the wider community. Open communication, parent involvement, and community engagement are integral to creating a supportive network that enhances the educational experience and reinforces the importance of learning beyond the school environment. While recognizing the importance of technology, I use it judiciously to enhance skill development rather than replace traditional methods. Educational technology is employed to reinforce foundational skills in literacy, numeracy, and critical thinking. It is a tool to support learning rather than a substitute for hands-on experiences and personal interactions.
