Duties & Responsibilities
Reads, knows, and supports the philosophy, policies, procedures and other pertinent data of the school as published in the Great Hearts Handbook.
Supports and enforces the school dress and behavior codes and makes reasonable efforts to promote the orderly behavior of all students in the school, on the grounds, and at off-campus school activities.
Attends Faculty Meetings, Parent-Faculty meetings (semester conferences and special appointments), Open Houses, special school events (such as concerts, plays and special presentations) and end-of-semester evaluation meetings. Only the Headmaster can excuse a faculty member from these responsibilities.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Teach assigned classes using the Great Hearts curriculum and materials, preparing thoughtful lessons and cultivating an orderly, joyful classroom that supports the pursuit of truth, goodness, and beauty.
Provide appropriate academic support to students, monitor progress, and partner with school leadership to address academic or behavioral needs in a timely manner.
Uphold and model the culture, policies, and expectations of Great Hearts, including dress code, conduct, and safety procedures, contributing to a respectful and orderly school environment.
Communicate clearly and professionally with families, initiating conferences as needed and fostering strong home-school partnerships.
Participate fully in the life of the academy through faculty collaboration, school events, assigned duties, and a shared commitment to ongoing professional growth and excellence in teaching.
Required/Preferred Education:
Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a criminal history background check and fingerprint clearance in accordance with state requirements.
Travel required: May need to travel locally for training and professional development opportunities.
